Check the Website & Existing Reviews

Review the Website for Reviews

Before adding anything, inspect the website and see what is already there.

Reviews & Testimonials Audit

Identifies the framework, every place customer reviews currently appear, whether they look real or like placeholder content, any Google rating/reviews references, and the best existing section plus location for a Leave a Review CTA — flags fake testimonials, duplicate review sections, inconsistent names/ratings, broken links, and unnecessary Reviews API integrations, changes nothing, and reports what to remove or correct first.

Review this website specifically for adding Google reviews and a clear "Leave a Review" action. Do not change anything yet. Identify: - the framework and project type - any existing testimonial or review sections - every location where customer reviews currently appear - whether the reviews look like real customer reviews or placeholder content - any Google rating or Google Reviews references - existing testimonial cards/components - Contact page - homepage trust sections - service pages - footer - any "Leave a Review", "Review Us", or similar CTA Check for: - fake placeholder testimonials - duplicate review sections - inconsistent customer names or ratings - broken Google review links - hard-coded review counts that may become outdated - any unnecessary Google Reviews API integration Do not change anything. Finish with: 1. Current review/testimonial status 2. Best existing section to reuse 3. Best location for a "Leave a Review" CTA 4. Anything that should be removed or corrected before adding Google reviews

Use Real Reviews Only

Do not invent customer testimonials.

If the website currently contains placeholder reviews such as:

"Amazing service!" — John D.

IMPORTANT

Replace placeholder reviews only when you have genuine customer reviews available. If you do not yet have enough reviews, it is better to show fewer real ones than fill the website with fake testimonials.

Get Your Google Review Link

Get the Review-Request Link

Your business should already have a Google Business Profile. Open the Business Profile and use:

Get your review link

Google provides a direct review-request link and, on desktop, a QR code that customers can use to leave a review. Copy the review link — it will be used for buttons such as "Leave a Google Review" or "Review Us on Google".

Do Not Incentivize Reviews

Do not offer discounts, free products, gifts, or rewards in exchange for a Google review.

IMPORTANT

Google explicitly prohibits incentives for reviews because reviews are expected to reflect genuine customer experiences.

Choose Reviews to Show

If you want to display customer reviews on the website, select a small number of genuine reviews that represent the business well.

For example: 3–6 reviews, covering different services or customer experiences, reasonably recent.

Keep the original meaning intact. Google also allows individual reviews to be shared via a direct review link from Google Maps.

Add Google Reviews

Adds only the real, provided Google reviews plus a "Leave a Google Review" CTA using the exact link given — reuses the existing testimonial section where possible, preserves each review's meaning, flags any placeholder reviews to remove, keeps the section responsive and accessible — never invents names/ratings/text, never installs a Reviews API or custom backend unless genuinely required, runs the production build, and answers Google Reviews integration: READY or NOT READY with exactly what changed.

Add Google reviews to this existing website. Google review-request link: [GOOGLE REVIEW LINK] Reviews to display: [PASTE ONLY REAL CUSTOMER REVIEWS YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO USE] First inspect the existing testimonial/review components and reuse them where appropriate. Requirements: - preserve the existing website design - reuse an existing testimonial section rather than creating a duplicate when possible - clearly identify these as Google reviews where appropriate - display only the real reviews I provided - preserve the meaning of each review - do not invent customer names, ratings, dates, or review text - add a clear "Leave a Google Review" CTA - use the exact Google review-request link I provided - make the section responsive - make review cards readable on mobile - preserve keyboard accessibility If the website already contains placeholder or fake testimonials, do not silently keep them alongside the real Google reviews. Tell me which placeholder reviews should be removed or replaced. Do not: - create fake reviews - generate new testimonials with AI - install a Google Reviews API integration unless it is genuinely required - expose an API key - create a custom review backend - redesign unrelated sections Run the production build afterward. Finish with: **Google Reviews integration: READY / NOT READY** Then list exactly what changed.

Keep the Section Simple

A useful review section may show:

Customer name, star rating, a short review, Google attribution, and a link to more reviews.

NOTE

Do not make the page feel like a review marketplace. The purpose is simply to add trust.
